If I have an account and buy the trilogy, can i give a cd-key away to friend? - Guild Wars Forums

I have a Prophecies account. I've had it for a long time. I bought a trilogy account (comes with 3 separate cd keys for prophecy, factions and night fall)...

my question is can i take the factions and night fall cd keys and add it to my account and give the prophecy cd key to my cousin or do i have to use all three of those keys at one time?

The Trilogy only comes with 1 key.

That key gives you the 3 campaigns with the 8 slots

So you cant transfer, Just keep the old one as a Mule account as it will have birthay gifts on the toons you created.

Or add that 1 key to retain the toons you have made so far and keep the old ones.

To give away you old account is against the EULA but hey thats a thing you have to think about

I bought it online and the guy sent me 3 separate cd keys (one for each expansion)...

I wonder if he just had all 3 and was just calling it the trilogy?

I also hope u werent scammed, that the codes were used already, making them useless for u.

I suppose he could have used the term trilogy, so all 3 codes could be sold together.

It appears to have worked. I gave the Prophecy code to my cousin and he said it worked while mine appears to have updated correctly.
